Cellino San Marco. Former Church of San Giovanni

Cellino San Marco. Former Church of San Giovanni

Among the roofs of the buildings in front of the Baronial Palace of Cellino San Marco, you can recognize a bell tower without its bell.

This bell tower indicates the place where the ancient church of San Giovanni was located.

It is the first to have been built in the first nucleus of Cellino San Marco.

It was probably the church of both the lords and the people.

It was built in the 16th century by the Albrizzi family.
