Ventotene. City Hall

The City Hall of Ventotene was the centre of the development of the old Bourbon city, and today it is the seat of the municipality of Ventotene.

It is a simple and massive building, the three floors end with merlons (crenellations) and are relieved by simple openings that are regularly spaced.

The frame marks the original height of the old Borbonic Fort that other floors.

The entrance is made by a simple staircase that goes over and past the ancient moat directly to the main square.
