In "Park Elcini", the Colonna Castle park, you can see the remains of the aqueduct that brought water inside the castle.
The aqueduct was restored in early 1600 to facilitate access to the castle.
The aqueduct carried water originally to an ancient Roman villa.
In fact, the last section of the aqueduct was the ancient "Ponte del Castello" which has since been damaged by the bombings of World War II and was rebuilt after the war.
