Formia. Clock Tower

In Formia, the building known as the Clock Tower has an octagonal shape.

It is the ancient Spanish Gate, the entrance to the village of Castellone.

The majolica clock on top of the tower dates back to the eighteenth century.

Of the twelve original towers of Formia, only two remain: the Clock Tower and the Tower of Castellone.
