Genzano di Roma. Colonna fountain

Colonna fountain is the symbol of Genzano di Roma and was designed in 1776: a column is wrapped in grape vines.

At the base of the column are two papal coats of arms: one of Clement XIII and the other of Clement XIV.

The column symbolizes the Roman Colonna family and the grape vine the wine production of Genzano di Roma.
