Coperchio palace in Collevecchio was built by Paulo Coperchio at the end of 1500s, as shown by the emblem on the front door, during the pontificate of Clement VIII Aldobrandini.
The building has two floors and has all the characteristics of the palace of that era, such as the window mouldings and a loggia on which there is the papal coat of arms.
The design and construction is attributed to Antonio da Sangallo the young pupil of Bramante and the layout was completed by an Italian garden.
