Poggio Mirteto. Farnese gate

The Baroque gate of Porta Farnese in Poggio Mirteto was built in 1573 by Cardinal Alessandro Farnese, who was then the abbot of Farfa.

His name is carved in the lintel of the door. The door is topped by a loggia built in the eighteenth century.
