Vitorchiano. House of the Rabbi

The house the rabbi is one of the most interesting places in Vitorchiano and takes its name from a rabbi who had lived there in the Renaissance.

It is characterized by a staircase that leads to the first floor and which rests on three elegantly carved and sculpted buttresses.

The whole structure is made of peperino, the special stone of the locality.

On the entrance of the house there is an architrave with the Eucharistic symbol of a sun with the cross and the symbols of alpha and omega, of the beginning and end of knowledge.
