Poggio Catino. Longobarda Tower

The Poggio Catino castrum begins with a Lombard tower, with its fortress in the form of a fortified settlement.

The tower was to control the Tancia way, the alternative the road to Salaria.

Has its original pentagonal plan, it is more than 20 m high and is still well preserved.

You can also see the two corner towers of the walls
