Vacone. Medieval Tower

The village of Vacone has crenellated walls for defence.

Only one square tower remains of the defensive system, with a trapdoor at the top, and the gateway to the town.

On this arch gate it is still visible the decorative frieze of the Marquis Marini-Clarelli (the last aristocratic owners of the castle) carved in stone.
