Collevecchio. Menichini Palace

Menichini palace dates back to the sixteenth century and was built on a design by Vignola.

It has a tower, which ends with a cusp, inside which is located a characteristic helical staircase in stone blocks, typical of the medieval period.

At the entrance of the palace courtyard is located Porta Umbra - Umbra Gate, one of the access roads to the town.

On the portico you can read an interesting inscription in memory of a judgment of condemnation.
