Militello in Val di Catania. Baldanza Palace

This beautiful baroque Baldanza Palace occupies an entire block at the end of Via Baldanza in Militello in Val di Catania.

It is overlooking the Church of Santa Maria della Stella on one side and Palazzo Majorana on the other.

It was built in the eighteenth century and is adorned with six balconies with rich masked shelves and festoons in pilasters.

These balconies are typical of the late Baroque language of south-eastern Sicily.

Next to the palace, there is a lush garden protected by a wall.
