Lubriano. Monaldeschi Palace

The Monaldeschi palace at Lubriano dates back to the eighteenth century.

It was built on an earlier medieval building of 1100s destroyed by a violent earthquake in 1695.

Work began in 1696 by the Marquis Paolo Antonio Monaldeschi with design by Giovanni Battista Gazzale of Vignanello who used the structures remained standing after the earthquake and turned it into Baroque style.

The building has three levels, with the main floor at the centre level.
