Sabaudia. Palace of Post and Telegraphs

The Palace of Post and Telegraph of Sabaudia was built in 1932 having been designed by Mazzoni.

It hosts the Angiolo Mazzoni Documentation Centre.

It is one of the best examples of Italian rational architecture and with its colors it takes up the union between sea and land, in fact it is covered with red marble and blue tesserae (which are also the color of Italian royalty).

The building has a soft shape with large windows and curves that give it an aerodynamic appearance.

Its current lighting was designed by Vittorio Storaro, winner of three Oscars for photography (Apocalypse Now, Reds, The Last Emperor).
