Rieti. Palazzo Vincenti Mareri

Palazzo Vincenti Mareri in Rieti was designed by neoclassical architect Giuseppe Valadier.

The architect, famous for Pincio and Piazza del Popolo in Rome, expanded an existing building and he grouped it together with neighbouring structures.

In the interior courtyard, which is accessed through two portals of ashlar masonry, is an Italian garden with the fountain of Ceres, a copy in terracotta of the Roman original.
