Patrica. Colonna - Villa castle

The villa was built in the seventeenth century by the transformation of a castle near the river Sacco in Patrica.

It is located in a strategic place, on a tuff crag, cut to make it more difficult to cross the river. Around the castle the tufa it was cut to create a moat.

The castle is accessed by a stone bridge and is dominated by an imposing eighteenth century tower.

The courtyard leads to the internal rooms: the stables and the first floor, consists of a long row of salons.

Today the castle is a reception house in the old stables and halls of which events can be arranged.
