Rocca Canterano. Garden of Stone

The historic center of Rocca Canterano is dotted with beautiful stone sculptures by Leonetta Marcotulli who donated them to the city as a tribute to her village of origin.

Other works are instead collected in a small museum, the Garden of Stone located right in the heart of the historic center.

In the central room you can admire stone and bronze sculptures, and on the walls you can read the story of this woman who was one of the protagonists of the social life of the twentieth century. Her emancipation led her to run in many rallies in Venezuela, where she spent part of her life, and to become one of the emblems of the female world.
