Roccagiovine. Fountain

Arriving in the main square of Roccagiovine, you immediately notice the large stone fountain from 1857. The fountain had been donated by the prior and by Alessandra del Gallo to distribute water to the population.

The basin has an octagonal shape and has a central sculpture engraved with the family crests and with four mouths from which the water comes out. On one of the sides this inscription is engraved: "Limpid spring that greets the ruins of the temple of Vacuna gladdens the house of Roccagiovine".
