Roccasecca. Village of Caprile

Roccasecca. Village of Caprile

Caprile is a medieval village and was one of the first three centres where the community of Roccasecca was formed.

It is located along the road that leads to Castrocielo and lies on a slope of Mount Asprano.

Caprile is a small architectural jewel with its alleys and its stairways which, taking them all lead up to the Rupestre church of Sant'Angelo in Asprano.

The whole village is in white stone and in the centre is the beautiful church of Santa Maria delle Grazie with a terrace overlooking the Liri valley where your gaze finishes on the Ausoni and Aurunci Mountains.
