Rocca Priora. Savelli Castle

Rocca Priora. Savelli Castle

The ancient Savelli castle of the eleventh century, that completed the role to defend the town of Rocca Priora.

It was transformed by the Savelli into a residential palace.

From the lookout, in the square in front of the palace, you can enjoy a breathtaking view from the Tiburtini mountains to the Prenestini.

The palace is home to the City Council and cannot be visited.

Yet it is worth a stroll through the surrounding streets.
