The temple of Vesta is located at the edge of the ancient acropolis near the important Sibyl Temple.
The temple dates back to the first century B.C. and is the most famous monument of the ancient city of Tibur.
It is dedicated to Vesta, the goddess of the hearth, whose cult was entrusted to the Vestals, or Tiburno, the hero who would give the city its name.
It has a round design with elegant lines and is surrounded by imposing landscape.
It was one of the works painted by artists of the Grand Tour.
