Sermoneta. The Loggia dei Mercanti

The Loggia dei Mercanti (merchants' lodge) was built in 1446 on the orders of Onorato Caetani to be used as the seat of the Municipality, business and popular assemblies.

Under the airy round arches that follow the fifteenth-century practice, the doors open onto the stables.

The entrance is still recognizable Gothic. The Loggia still represents a meeting point for citizens and is one of the most interesting places in the area.
