Ladispoli. Torre Flavia (Flavio Tower)

Torre Flavia of Ladispoli is a military settlement that dates back to Roman times.

It had been restored several times during the Middle Ages.

In the sixteenth century it was rebuilt by Cardinal Flavio Orsini from which it takes its name.

It was seriously damaged by Allied bombing in 1943.
