Trivigliano. Fountain of the ‘Three Fountains’

In the lower part of the village, in one of the intersections from which the streets emanate to the village, this fountain was created that resembles the magical number of Trivigliano, the Three.

Next to the fountain there was an octagonal marble stele bearing the names of the cities of the ancient League of Ernica.

The fountain was part of a Roman aqueduct that brought water from Guarcino and supplied the fields and villas of the plain.

Next to the fountain the old cisterns are still used by farmers who take water for the fields.
