Franchi Palace

Veroli. Franchi Palace

The Franchi Palace in Veroli takes its name from the current owner .

Originally belonged to the Bisleti Marquis family who enlarged it and transformed it around the 18th century.

The area was already inhabited since the Middle Ages and the marquises transformed the area into urban planned housing with demolitions and reconstructions.

The architect Giuseppe Subleyras took care of the construction of both the building and the square in 1778.

You enter from one side of the square with one of the entrances, characteristic of the end of the eighteenth century: being a large arched door with a small balcony on it with a large window which creates a scenic effect.

A large staircase leads to the main floor where the interior is finely decorated by Giacomo Manco, Luigi Favoriti and Agostino Rinaldi.

A large garden overlooking the Latina Valley completes the building.
