Roccasecca dei Volsci. War Memorial

Roccasecca dei Volsci. War Memorial

The war memorial of Roccasecca dei Volsci was built in 1960 and is a modern representation of the pains of war.

The sculpture is divided into two parts: the lower one represents a fallen soldier, and the pain of those who fight, while the upper one represents women with children and the elderly, the pain of those who stay at home.

The sculpture also has a strong emotional impact for the rosy colour of the stone.
