Valmontone. War memorial

At the intersection of Via XI Settembre and Via Casilina, near the Valmontone railway station, a wonderful monument to the fallen of the First World War was erected.

It was built with the contribution of all the Valmontonese and inaugurated in 1926 in the presence of all the people, designed by the architect Jacobucci while Mastro Costantini Luigi carried out the works.

On the monumneto, there is this inscription: "Valmontone to his sons who fell for the homeland - year MCMXXVI"
