Barbarano Romano. Museo della Tuscia Rupestre (Tuscia Rocky Museum)

The Museo della Tuscia Rupestre or Tuscia Rocky Museum in Barbarano Romano is dedicated to the biologist Francesco Spallone.

It is one of the local interpretation centers of the Tuscia Rock where you can admire both the reconstruction of the environments such as ravines, i.e. deep valleys in the volcanic rock, with the animals that lived there.

It shows also a reconstruction of a Chamber Etruscan Tomb, typical in this area. The Etruscans were a pre-Roman people who lived in these areas.
