The Civic Museum of Nature is located inside the Palazzo Barberini, the civic center of Capranica Prenestina. It provides a complete picture of the Prenestini flora and fauna.
The space is enriched by models and dioramas that reproduce all habitats and the different layers and geological features of the mountains.
The area of Mount Guadagnolo, in fact, is characterized by unique botanical varieties so as to be included in the regional preservation map of Lazio.
The museum organizes tours and educational excursions for school children along the trails of the mountains.
