Agosta. Feast of the Inchinata

On 14 and 15 August, a particular religious festival takes place in Agosta, that of the Inchinata. Two processions leave at the same time from the church of Santa Maria Assunta each carrying an image of the Madonna and, making different routes, they meet in Piazza San Nicola.

The two images are folded as if to simulate a bow while the marching band plays music and people shout 'mercy'.
