Arpino. Carnival of Saturn

In March, Arpino returns the great event the Carnival of Saturn, founder of the city. The Saturnalia were the feasts that consecrated the God Saturn and from which the festivities of today's Carnival originate.

The first week of March in the historic city center and Piazza Municipio, from the afternoon begin the festivities for the fat tuesday with the parade of allegorical chariots and masked groups, accompanied by entertainment for children and a great desire to have fun!
