Since 1993 during July the exhibition of art and popular music in Lazio with the folk group "I Giullari" is staged in Marina di Minturno, to which are added other folk groups of the south-Pontine area, Molise and Campania.
The interpretations of folk groups are authentic, original and spontaneous, and the public dances are the manifestation of a joyful vitality - from the songs and dances of thanksgiving for the harvest of wheat and grapes, to the dances of peasant festivals with tarantellas and saltarelli. These are joyful moments of celebration and engaging dances ... in short, a very lively show!
Among the key players of past editions are the folk group A 'Cetta, Le contrade, the Contado, the Sbandieratori Le Tre Torri, the Sbandieratori dei Casali di Minturno and the folk group Agnone.
The festival is organized by the cultural association "Monte D'Argento" and hosts an exhibition of crafts and antiques.
