Gaeta. Gaeta Jazz Festival

Gaeta. Gaeta Jazz Festival

Gaeta Jazz Festival is a music festival that marries the fresh sounds of contemporary jazz and the legendary sea of the Ulysses Riviera.

The talent of the musicians, the magical setting of the Gulf of Gaeta, combined with the incredible empathy of the public, generate unique emotional experiences. Among the festival locations are Punta Dello Stendardo, Piazza Editrice, Piazza Mazzoccolo.

The Gaeta Jazz Festival was founded in 2008 and has established itself since its early years as one of the summer events for all jazz enthusiasts in Italy, with a program devoted to the contemporary genre.

On the occasion of the festival there is a food & beverage area where you can taste the local dishes, including the traditional calamari tielle.

Within the festival program there are a series of events in the afternoon, called "Gaeta Jazz By Day", which offer cultural meetings with a teacher, many dj-sets, a photographic exhibition, presentation of a book and an unpublished "Gaeta Jazz Festival Baby" workshop for children.

The territory of Gaeta is perfectly represented by the different locations chosen for the event: the beautiful Terrazza Borbonica, the evocative Molo Sanità, the churchyard of the Church of San Francesco, the historic gardens adjacent to the Serapo Hotel, the Corso Cavour and the inevitable beach parties.
