Norma. Historical re-enactment of Norba

Norma. Historical re-enactment of Norba

The first Sunday of July is the day of the historical re-enactment "A day in Norba" which takes place in the archaeological park of the ancient Roman city.

The event reproduces a typical day at the time of late Republican Rome, thanks to the citizens of Norma and a group of actors who stage a show in the area of the minor acropolis.

During the event there is also an equestrian competition between the districts of the 4 gates  of the ancient city of Norba: Porta Maggiore, Porta Signina, Porta Ninfina and Porta Serrone di Bove.

The event is organized by the Norba Archaeological Group.
