Gallese. Marco Scacchi Baroque Music Festival

A baroque music festival dedicated to the composer Marco Scacchi born in Gallese in 1602 and having lived most of his life in Poland before returning to his native country.

Marco Scacchi was choirmaster in the royal court of Warsaw, and in Lithuania, at the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Vilnius.

In Gallese is remembered with a festival that includes performances of music and baroque and renaissance dance and the shows take place in the city museum and in the cathedral.
