Arsoli. Palio dell'Amico

The 'Palio of Amico' was created in 1997 to celebrate the Millennium of Arsoli recalling the medieval splendour with a contest between the four "sections" of the town.

It is set in the sixteenth century and is inspired by the most famous Arsolano character of that century: Amico Passamonti Lord of Arsoli, brave leader and captain.

The Palio trophy is the Amico sword faithfully reproduced by a local craftsman.
