    During the summer the Palio Harmine Shoes takes place in Montalto di Castro that which is on a rescue skates mar resistance test.

    The teams have to travel one kilometer in a stretch of sea in front of Marina di Montalto.

    Participants parade on the beach in front of the bathers with "Tantum Marching Band" of Valentano carrying the banner for the winner of the palio.
