The International Festival Severino Gazzelloni was born to pay tribute to the great original flutist of Roccasecca. It is one of Ciociaria's international musical events.
An opportunity to discover the beauties of this village as each show takes place in different locations where all the churches, palaces and historical scenarios are involved.

Severino Gazzelloni was born in Roccasecca in 1919 and died in Cassino in 1992 after having achieved international success and become famous in every part of the world.
Two years, in 1994, the city of Roccasecca decided to make a musical festival in his homage and today this event has grown thanks to the collaboration with the Licinio Refice Conservatory of Frosinone and the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio.
Inside the Festival the section "The musicians of the land of Severino" is dedicated to emerging young musicians of the territory who study classical music.
Students receive a scholarship and their commitment is then to enhance the Terra di Severino in major international festivals.
