On the last weekend of September in Roccasecca is the celebration of Saint Thomas Aquinas with a special theatrical show that takes place at Borgo Castello (Village Castle).
The show recounts in a light but profound way the life and works of St. Thomas, who was an important theologian and philosopher born in Roccasecca in the Castello dei Conti d'Aquino (Castle of the Counts of Aquino) in 1224.
The story is told through recited scenes, scenery paintings on a stage and in places where part of the saint's life took place, combining skillfully theatre, live music and pictorial art.
