Vetralla at the time of the Marquis del Grillo

In September Vetralla is transformed and for a few nights returns to being the city of the nineteenth century, in the same period in which the famous film 'Il Marchese del Grillo' is set.

There is a reconstruction of costumes and lifestyles with scenes of daily life when Vetralla was annexed to the French Empire. The scenes are interpreted by actors and by a group of people who animate the Living Nativity every year.

The performances also have the soundtrack played by the Ottavio Pistella band of the town.

This is an event that includes enjoying an aperitif based on traditional local products to make known the gastronomic delights of the area.
