From 5 to 6 January San Felice Circeo lights up ... literally! The celebrations begin with the bonfire of the Epiphany where a statue of the befana is ceremoniously burned, followed by tradition, a dinner in the square all based on polenta and sausages.
Sunday 6th everybody on the streets again to celebrate together the Canascione Festival.
Canascione is a stuffed pizza, a savory pie usually stuffed with eggs, cured meat and cheese, a typical dish of Southern Lazio.
Throughout the day you can try for the first time or relive the games of the past ("i giochi de na vota"), an entertainment Sunday (and eat) for adults and children.
