Passion is the ingredient that for years has accompanied the food and wine festival of Lariano. It is held at the foot of Mount Artemisio, just beyond the Castelli Romani Park.
For four days Lariano hosts the “Cellittata Larianese” food and wine festival, based on the traditional pasta in the shape of ‘large spaghetti’ prepared with water and flour.
Numerous stands serve menus based on typical Larian dishes, such as “cellitti”, highlighting the flavours and local traditions, using traditional ingredients. There are other local products such as gnocchi and tagliatelle, as well as sheep and lamb on the grill.
There are activities related to the production of traditional products such as oil, wine, cheese, desserts, plus the famous Lariano bread baked in the wood oven.
The four evenings will be enlivened by entertainment groups and local traditional folk bands. The event is as usual accompanied by a wonderful fireworks display.
This annual food and wine festival is organized by the Ara Norma committee that promotes local delights.
