The Cervaro Wine Festival is an opportunity to get to know this village of Ciociaria that was founded by the monks of the Abbey of Montecassino to defend the territories of the hinterland from raids by the Saracens.
Cervaro is historically known for the quality of its wines that are come from vineyards in the dry and sunny hills.
It is possible to sample a spectrum of Ciociaria wines and taste local products and dishes while listening to live music. During the day the "Cervarese Wines Championship" (Memorial Adolfo D'Aguanno) takes place with the tasting of locally produced red wines.
