During two days in June, the festival dedicated to the cherry (Sagra della Ciliegia), the fruit typical of Maenza, is held.
There are guided tours of cherry orchards and a variety of fun games that children enjoy such as: La Ciliegina sulla Torta, Sputa l’Osso.
For producers the evening is dedicated to the Cherry Prizes of Maenza with awards for their jobs well done.
During Sunday children distribute the cherries at the gates of the town and in the afternoon there is a parade of themed floats parade through the streets of the town.
