Ronciglione. Feast of Saint Ann and fried pizza festival

Saint Ann is Mary's mother, and therefore Jesus' grandmother, and the feast of Saint Ann is one of the most deeply felt religious events in many Italian countries. One of these is held in Ronciglione, a village in Tuscia surrounded by greenery, among beech, chestnut and oak woods. Tourism, agriculture and crafts are the foundations on which the country's economy is based.

Thefeast of Saint Ann is an opportunity to stroll in the characteristic medieval village and then among the beautiful Renaissance buildings admiring the famous stuccos that decorate the facades of historic buildings.

In thedistrict of Saint Ann  there is a market dedicated to the rediscovery of objects from the past, those that bear the signs of time and exhibitions of ceramics, decorated glass, photographs and sculptures.

The fried pizza festival is an opportunity to taste all the typical products, such as the famous giuncata and other local cheeses, as well as a variety of fried pizzas. The evenings are enlivened by musical performances.

Ronciglione is the ideal destination for a holiday with a view of Lake Vico immersed in nature and walking through the woods of Selva Cimina.
