The Festival of 'Gnocchi co'la rattacacio' in Vasanello is dedicated to one of the traditional local dishes.

Gnocchi are made of flour and water and then are worked with grated cheese.

This gives it a distinctive "checkered" appearance and shapes that hold the sauce better.
