Fiamignano. Festival of the Rascino Lentil

A feast in Fiamignano dedicated to Lentil of Rascino to one of the best products of the earth told by the Slow Food Foundation.

The lentil is cultivated in the Rascino plateau at an altitude between 900 and 1300 meters.

In this uncontaminated karst basin in the Cicolano area where lentils, spelled and a variety of common wheat called biancola are traditionally grown.

The Rascino lentil is grown naturally without the use of chemical additives and is particularly tasty for the type of soil and altitude.

The party is the opportunity to taste it prepared in various ways and to be able to buy it directly from the producers.
