In April the alleys and squares of Morolo come alive for the festival dedicated to the best local pasta, the handmade frascategli, and other local food and wine delicacies.
Frascategli are a pasta made with water, flour and salt and are made with a particular shape, in fact they are practically "crumbled" in boiling water.
Frascategli are lovingly prepared throughout the day by the skilled hands of the volunteers of the "Vivere San Pietro" association.
Served to all the participants in search of the traditional aromas and flavors of the province of Frosinone, they are seasoned with various sauces and the most popular is based on tomatoes and garlic.
The day continues with performances of music and popular games such as the pignata and drinking of canaio wine.
