On the first weekend of December in Cerveteri the new olive oil production is celebrated with a great tasting of the oil and traditional products.
Alongside the tastings, is a craft market where you can find the best local artisanal products.
In addition to oil you can find experts who present the wines of the Consortium 'Wine Route of the Etruscan-Roman Lands'.
This is an event that includes many aspects of a farmer's life and during the weekends a series of conferences and seminars are held to update on the most recent news from the area.
As part of these promotional activities, the award is given as 'Best New Oil' by a panel of experts and tasters.
For all participants, then, there is a free entry to the archaeological Etruscan area of Banditaccia and the Museo Nazionale Cerite.
