Pofi. Festival of Vegetables and Pumpudurella

Pofi. Festival of Vegetables and Pumpudurella

A day dedicated to local agricultural production in Pofi with a festival that follows the spirit of the markets of the past: with the sounds of people, the colours of vegetables and the aromas of fresh herbs.

A special attention to the truly special vegetable, which for years has been part of the culinary tradition of this country. Pumpudurella is a type of tomato that grows in the territory of Pofi, with a classic "cluster" shape, much loved for the strong and fragrant taste it takes from the land and the spirit of the Province in which it grows.

There is a programme of events to promote more and more the culture of genuine food and excellent products with conferences, tastings, crafts and entertainment.

An excellent opportunity to visit this enchanting village an appealing countryside.
